Baby's entourage is rightly becoming more and more demanding, with a real sensitivity to biological materials that have less impact on the environment. Kaloo is committed to an approach in favor of ecology by offering reusable gift boxes made from recyclable cardboard, as well as soft toys and comforters made from recycled polyester; to offer you birth gifts that meet your requirements in terms of composition and durability of the materials used.
Design, choice of materials, safety, requirements in manufacturing, finishing and packaging are all criteria on which we rely to properly support the little ones as they enter the world. Today, all of our items are padded with polyester fiber filling derived from recycled plastic bottles.

Carré Douceur is the range of Kaloo comforters made from more sustainable material: polyester from recycled plastic bottles is used both for the design and for the padding of these happy companions. These little cuddly toys hold against them a very soft square cuddly toy decorated with a beautiful print. Sometimes floral or narrative, the print is found in the little ears of the animals to make them ever cuter! All our iconic boxes are designed with the aim of being reused by families as a storage box or decorative object in the baby's room. Matching the cuddly toys, they can hold little memories of baby's first moments.

As of 2020, most gift boxes no longer include plastic. We strive, wherever possible, to favor recyclable materials in the making of our product boxes.

Petit Cœur de Beurre raises awareness among the public about congenital heart disease and acts on a daily basis to improve the quality of life of little patients and their families. Kaloo is committed to their side by providing comfort and tenderness to babies and children with heart defects through the donation of comfort toys, which will accompany them in their care journey and well beyond the hospital.
In collaboration with the Association and the Necker hospital in Paris, the Kaloo brand designed and created "Little Panda", an endearing mascot designed to soothe and reassure children throughout the catheterization process.
Catheterization is a medical procedure consisting of introducing a small tube, the catheter, into a vein or artery to avoid open-heart surgery. This medical procedure can be worrying about children and their families, and the presence of “Little Panda” aims to reassure them. “Little Panda” explains the medical protocol to children through an explanatory booklet, which can help them understand and overcome their concerns.
The idea of introducing "Little Panda" in the catheterization room and the recovery room, as well as in the form of a soft toy given to each child before and after the operation, is a great initiative to give children the courage necessary to face this difficult medical ordeal.
Since 2018, Kaloo has supported the Dons Solidaires association by offering soft toys and cuddly toys to disadvantaged families.
Dons Solidaires offers donations as an alternative to the destruction of unsold items and allows Kaloo to fulfill its societal mission. Article 35 of the AGEC law has required, since January 1, 2022, producers, importers and distributors to reuse, reuse or recycle unsold non-food products.
More than 337 associations have benefited from the “CHRISTMAS FOR ALL” operation since the start of the partnership with the Janod and Kaloo brands. 186,790 items have been donated by Kaloo and other brands from the JURATOYS group since the start of the collaboration, that's as many happy children!
Kaloo is an official partner of National Early Childhood Week : a week of mobilization around a theme with games and stories for professionals, parents and children throughout France.
This event is placed under the patronage of the Ministry of Health and Solidarity and the Ministry of Culture.
All places welcoming young children, individual or collective, are invited to mobilize free of charge to promote the artistic awakening of children aged 3 months to 3 years, inform parents about the issues at this period of life but also promote professionals in their daily lives.
A wide choice of educational, artistic and cultural events are offered, such as early learning games workshops, thematic installations or conferences.
